We will determine the best method of verification based on your individual request and the information we already have on you.

When you visit our websites at thebeastnation.com, the browser on your device automatically sends information to the server on which our websites are hosted. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted:

  • name and URL of the retrieved file,
  • website from which access is made (referrer URL),
  • the browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider.

We process the aforementioned data for the following purposes:

  • ensuring comfortable use of our website,
  • evaluating the system security and stability of our websites, as well as

Within the scope of the GDPR, our legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest as per Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes listed above for data collection.

  1. Data you provide to us

If you use our contact form or make a purchase through our websites, we ask you to provide your name, e-mail address, address and telephone number. We store this personal data together with the details of your purchases and further information you may provide such as comments you send us via our websites, or communication you send us via e-mail or other messaging services. We use your personal data only for the purpose of providing you the service or information requested by you. We will store this data on our serves for as long as necessary to provide the services or information requests, unless a longer retention period is based on our legitimate interests or prescribed by law.

We use cookies on our site. Cookies are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site.

Information is stored in the cookie that results in each case in connection with the specifically used terminal device. However, this does not mean that we immediately become aware of your identity. However, the complete deactivation of cookies can lead to the fact that you cannot use all functions of our website.

  1. Analytics-Tools

We use tracking tools to ensure the design and continuous optimization of our website. We use the tracking measures to record the use of our website statistically and to evaluate it for optimising our offer. Within the scope of application of the GDPR, the tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out based on our legitimate interests on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f GDPR.

  1. Google Analytics

For the purpose of the continuous optimization of our pages and its design, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. USA. 

In this context, pseudonymised user profiles are created and cookies are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website such as

  • browser type/version,
  • the operating system used,
  • referrer URL (the previously visited page),
  • host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
  • time of the server request

are transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The information is used to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide further services associated with the use of the website and the Internet for the purposes of market research and demand-oriented design of these Internet pages.   1. Facebook Pixel

On our website, we use "Facebook Pixel", a service provided by Facebook Inc., USA. 

Facebook Pixel enables Facebook to display our Facebook ads only to Facebook users who have visited our website, especially those who have shown interest in our online offerings or in certain topics or products. Facebook pixels enable us to check whether a user has been redirected to our website after clicking on our Facebook ads. Among other things, Facebook Pixel uses cookies, i.e. small text files that are stored locally in the cache of your web browser on your end device. If you are logged into Facebook with your user account, the visit to our online service is noted in your user account. The data collected about you is anonymous to us and does not provide us with any information about the identity of the user. However, this data can be linked from Facebook to your user account there. We have no influence on the extent and further use of data collected by Facebook through the use of Facebook pixels. To the best of our knowledge, Facebook receives information that you have accessed the relevant part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you have a Facebook user account and are registered, Facebook can assign the visit to your user account. Even if you are not registered with Facebook or have not logged in, Facebook may still know and store your IP address and other identifying information, if any.

We use Facebook pixels for marketing and optimization purposes, in particular to place relevant and interesting ads on Facebook and thus improve our offering, make it more interesting for you as a user and avoid annoying ads. This is also our legitimate interest in the processing of the above data by the third party provider. The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

You may object to the aforementioned collection by Facebook pixels and the use of your data to display Facebook ads.   • in the event that a legal obligation exists for the transfer (within the scope of the GDPR this is justified by Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c GDPR), and
  • this is legally permissible and necessary for the execution of contractual relationships with you (within the scope of application of the GDPR this is justified by Art. 6 para. 1 letter b GDPR).
  1. Payment Services 

We use a third party payment processor to process payments made to us. In connection with the processing of such payments, we do not retain any personally identifiable information except for your name and we do not have access to any financial information such as credit card numbers. Rather, this information is provided directly to our third party processor, Stripe or CopeCart, whose use of your personal information is governed by their privacy policy, which may be viewed at https://stripe.com/us/privacy. Stripe is a US entity that complies with the EU-U.S.  

  1. CRM, news and offers

If you have agreed to receive notices from us, we send automated service messages pertaining to the various services available on the websites to users that have accessed the websites and provided an e-mail address. We may be required to send service messages or other notices to such users from time to time. Where you have consented to receive marketing communications from us, you may from time to time receive communications relating to special offers and/or recommendations. You may unsubscribe from our email list at any time by following the directions provided in the email communications.

  • Google Drive

We use Google Drive by Google LLC, USA. Google Drive is a file storage and synchronization service that helps us to store and manage information on existing and potential customers. We process the following data using Google Drive: Name, phone number, e-mail address, address, IP-address, our correspondence with you, information users provide via forms, information related to items purchased and the dates of purchase, events attended and dates of the signup.  Google complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union to the United States.   1. Data retention 

We store your data for no longer than necessary in relation to the purpose under which such data was collected. This is determined on a case-by-case basis and depends on things such as the nature of the data provided, why it was collected, the legal basis we rely upon to process the data, and our relevant legal or operation retention requirements. 

  1. Children 

Our websites and other services are not aimed at children. We do not target, intend to collect, or knowingly collect or otherwise process information from anyone under the age of 13.

If you are under the age of 13, we request that you do not provide us with your information and do not use our websites. If you are a parent or guardian of a child under 13, please contact us if you are aware that your child has used our websites or otherwise provided their information to us without your consent. We will delete or otherwise cease processing your child’s personal information.
